Benbrook Texas Real Estate
Archeological evidence suggest that Indian tribes settled the Benbrook area perhaps more than 10,000 thousands years ago. Buffalo roamed the area and the convergence of the Clear Fork of the Trinity River and Mary’s Creek provided adequate water for tribes and wildlife to survive and build a home.

Benbrook is named for James Benbrook, the man who convinced the railroad to build a station in Benbrook. While Benbrook is one of the oldest communities in Tarrant County, it is one of the youngest incorporated cities. Benbrook is located on the southwest side of Fort Worth with principal Highways of Interstate 20, Loop 820, and Hwy 377. As of the last census, Benbrook had approximately 8600 households.
