What is Walsh Ranch ?
Walsh Ranch is a working ranch owned by the Walsh Family for more than 60 years. Since the 1950s it has been one of the premier Charolais breeding operations in the country. Howard and Mary D. Walsh envisioned the property as a great development for Fort Worth. Both have since passed away and now family members continue to work toward making their dream a reality.
Infrastructure progresses for the vast Walsh Ranch as development continues on track and the first of some 14,000 new homes. Water lines from Fort Worth have how been brought to the property.
Where is Walsh Ranch ?
The more than 7,000 acre development is primarily in East Parker County but continues into west Tarrant County and includes the junction of Interstate-20 & Interstate-30, borders FM 3325 to the west, continues north almost to White Settlement Road. On the east side of the property it wraps around the Linkcrest area to Lost Creek, then south across Interstate 20 to the Union Pacific Railroad and FM 4002. And finally back to FM 1187 and Interstate-20. |

When is Walsh Ranch opening?
Some road grading has begun on the major north-south thoroughfare--Walsh Ranch Parkway that will connect the 5 planned communities and cross Interstates 20 & 30.
Quail Valley- the first community to be developed on the property to the north of Interstate 30. Quail Valley will include a championship golf course, network of walks and trails, perhaps an adult/retirement component and other recreation facilities. Quail Valley may see homes being built in 2009.
NorthStar will be the most northern portion of the property--with multi-acre estate lots, possibly an equestrian theme and riding trails, possibly gated community.
Overlook- to include home lots with views to the east, possibly a gated community with abundant open space, paths and walkways.
Town Center- to be located at the heart of the development near Interstate-20 and Iinterstate-30 will include Commercial, Retail, and Entertainment components as well as high-density residential areas with a town square and community gathering space.
Hildreth Hills- located at the southern part of the property with possibly a golf course, trail system, and gated community.
What is the Walsh Ranch price range ?
Initial home prices are projected to begin at $150,000 for first-time home buyers and up from there.
