White Settlement TX Real Estate
The early beginnings of White Settlement date back to the early days of the Texas Republic when the area's principle inhabitant were native indians. There were two developments--one of white settles, many from Kentucky and Tennesse, and another settlement of Native Americans Indians. The earliest White Settlement school building was built in the area now occupied by the runway at Carswell Joint Reserve Base.
In the late 1930s White Settlement had a population of about 500 residents. Then, in the early 1040's, a new Consolidated Aircraft Corporation plant was built and population swelled. The number of homes incresed in 1943 to 1200 with many residents working aircraft for World War II. As the demand for aircarft needed to fight the war increased, so did the population and need for homes in White Settlement.
